I think with YouTube it takes a lot of effort AT FIRST to find a niche and then really focus in on it. I never intended for my channel to be primarily about Medium, but that's what my analytics were telling me to focus on. At the end of the day it's not about creating what you want, it's about creating what an audience wants. I think a lot of people get hung up on that.
