Wow, another week gone already, which means it’s time for another Friday quit alcohol follower check-in!

My question of the week for you: what will you do with all the extra energy you’ll have this weekend from not drinking alcohol?
It’s pretty simple for me: shake off the last remnants of a pretty crushing bout of COVID (you can read about my experience with that here). In a piece earlier this week, I wrote about my №1 health benefit from quitting drinking for 30 days, which was that I was physically and mentally prepared to fight this battle against our pandemic pal.

I’d just like to take a moment to say thank you to one follower in particular.
I’m approaching a month writing about sobriety issues on Medium and I have to say, I’ve been blown away the response and enthusiasm.
I’m not sure I would have attacked Medium with the same gusto without the supportive reading habits of the first handful of people who engaged with my work or left nice comments, however.
In those first couple of weeks, I noticed one person was highlighting my articles…
